Sheep
Creek Water Storage Tank
|
Overview: |
Owner: National Park Service
We were contracted to demo an existing 155,000 gallon tank,
construct a new 165,000 gallon glass lined tank, and perform the
integration into their existing system. The project was located in
Kings Canyon National Park and there is no telephone service of
any kind. The crews lodged in the campground while the weather was
good but had to evacuate immediately with the threat of snow. The
road could not be accessed by emergency equipment during inclement
weather. We constructed the tank last fall and will complete the
SCADA system and telemetry this spring. |
