Sheep Creek Water Storage Tank
 

Overview: 

Owner: National Park Service

We were contracted to demo an existing 155,000 gallon tank, construct a new 165,000 gallon glass lined tank, and perform the integration into their existing system. The project was located in Kings Canyon National Park and there is no telephone service of any kind. The crews lodged in the campground while the weather was good but had to evacuate immediately with the threat of snow. The road could not be accessed by emergency equipment during inclement weather. We constructed the tank last fall and will complete the SCADA system and telemetry this spring.

Bajo Agua Storm Drain Project

Overview: 

Owner: City of Camarillo
The City of Camarillo awarded us a project to construct a 1,200 foot long box culvert near the Camarillo airport extending from West Ventura Blvd. to the Camarillo Hills Drain. The major challenge was dewatering and disposal of the groundwater.

Stallion Springs Tank #6B

Overview:

We are constructing a .75MG Tank in Stallion Springs to meet their water needs as development continues. The challenge of the project is the 8,000 cubic yard excavation that will require us to blast the rocky places.

Victor Valley Water District-Eva Del and Hesperia Rd. Pipeline

Overview: 

Project consisted of installing a new water main in the town of Victorville to meet the new capacities of rapid growth. Obstacles include heavy traffic control and sandy conditions.

Overview: 

To build three, large diameter water control structures with canal gates. Our challenge was to meet strict dates the district wanted to bank surplus water during the extremely wet year.
